Janet MacRae

I am a proud graduate of Dalhousie University’s College of Pharmacy, where I earned my BScPharm in 2005. Following two years of practice in community pharmacy, I transitioned to the Department of National Defence in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For the past decade, I have been dedicated to primary care, as well as our multidisciplinary diabetes clinic.

Additionally, I serve as a part-time lecturer at the College of Pharmacy, Dalhousie University, and over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of instructing on various subjects, including hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, and more.

I have had the privilege of speaking at the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia’s annual conference on multiple occasions and have authored an online, self-paced diabetes course for the association. Additionally, I have presented at the New Brunswick Pharmacy Association’s annual conference and have delivered numerous presentations for Dalhousie's Continuing Pharmacy Education program, covering a range of diabetes-related topics.
